1. Your customer account

Provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date. You must verify your account using the verification email before it becomes active. Keep your password private and contact Caribou Cargo if you believe someone else has accessed your account. Only register on behalf of another person or business if you have their permission.

2. Using the portal

Use the portal for legitimate enquiries, shipments and payments. Do not create automated or fraudulent registrations, impersonate others, interfere with the service or attempt to access information belonging to other customers. We may restrict access while investigating suspected misuse or security concerns.

3. Shipment information and packaging

Provide accurate descriptions, quantities, values, destination details and any documents requested for your shipment. Use suitable packaging and tell us before sending fragile, valuable, perishable or specially handled items. Use your Caribou customer reference and tracking details so we can identify your parcels.

4. Restricted goods and customs

Do not send unlawful, prohibited or dangerous goods. Contact Caribou Cargo before sending items that may need permits, special handling or customs approval. We may decline goods that cannot be handled safely or accepted for transport. Any applicable customs duties, taxes or clearance requirements should be confirmed for your shipment.

5. Quotations, charges and payments

Charges may depend on the service, destination, actual weight, volumetric weight and handling requirements. Review the quotation or amount payable for your shipment and ask us about anything unclear before proceeding. Additional services or revised measurements may affect the amount payable and should be explained to you. Keep your invoice and payment reference, and use the payment instructions provided by Caribou Cargo.

6. Delivery and collection

Transit and collection dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Transport conditions, customs processing and other operational delays may affect timing. Wait for confirmation that your parcel is ready at the collection outlet before travelling to collect it. Bring the requested identification or collection authorisation and settle any outstanding payment required for release.

7. Missing, damaged or incorrect items

Inspect your parcel when collecting it where reasonably possible. Report any damage, missing items, incorrect delivery or payment concern promptly to Caribou Cargo, quoting your tracking number and keeping relevant packaging, photographs and documents. We will review the circumstances and the terms applicable to your shipment. Ask about any available insurance or special arrangements before sending valuable goods.

8. Personal information and notifications

We use the details you provide to manage your account, identify and process shipments, handle payments and communicate service updates. This may involve our delivery outlets, payment providers and email or SMS providers as needed to provide the service. Keep your email and phone number current. Service messages may include account verification, shipment progress, payment and collection updates.

9. Changes and your rights

We may update these general terms as our services develop. The version date appears above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Changes do not automatically replace terms already agreed for an existing shipment. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Questions

If you have questions about these terms or a shipment, contact Caribou Cargo through your collection outlet or the contact details supplied on your quotation, invoice or service correspondence before proceeding.
